Principal Rinaldi sent out a blast telephone message Tuesday night (1/2/2018) to alert parents and students about a false claim regarding a fake student at Westhill.
The accusation claimed that a 16 year old student, whose name could not be found in any Westhill systems, was raped prior to the New Years break. The web page containing the accusation appeared to be a form of clickbait and attached to a 1-800 number with a line that when dialed did not connect to anyone.
“I wanted to quell any concerns and make sure people knew it had no merit,” said Rinaldi regarding his after school mass phone message. The accusation has been reported to Stamford Police and will be looked into by proper authorities.
