With the spring sports season quickly approaching, the administration opted to allow for a pep rally on March 30. Students from the varsity track, cheerleading, lacrosse, tennis, softball, golf, and baseball teams were invited on to the field to take part in the celebration. Captains of each team were called to the center of the field to briefly discuss their plans for the season ahead, as well as up coming game dates. Girls lacrosse coach, Mr. DeVellis, served as moderator of the event, asking pointed questions about how each team would go about improving their overall performance. The pep rally also saw two successful promposals, as well as an entertaining dance battle where students in the stands could vote for the winner by cheering. The event got students excited for another season of supporting the sports teams, and generated some much needed school spirit.
