Track and field finishes with a bang

Earlier today, the boys’ and girls’ Varsity track and field teams competed in the FCIAC tournament. Standout performances from Westhill students included:

Dillin Smith, ‘11: 1st Place – 200 m dash
Bobby Kober, ‘10: 5th Place – Pole vault
Ashley Daniel, ‘10: 5th Place – 100 m hurdles; 6th Place – 300 m hurdles
Maddie Elkins, ‘11: 5th Place – 3200 m

Also, last week on May 19, the boys’ Varsity track and field team competed in their final home meet against Stamford High, Fairfield Ludlowe, and Fairfield Warde. Westhill defeated all three teams:

W 86, Fairfield Ludlowe 64
W 93, Fairfield Warde 57
