It’ll be a brisk 35 degrees outside at 7PM. But inside, it’ll be nothing but net. Westhill takes on Stamford High tonight at 7PM. The Black Knights enter the contest at a solid 12-6 mark, while the Vikings are 3-13.

In their last game, the Black Knights defeated Norwalk 73-71 in an overtime thriller. Jaden Bell scored 20, while Josh Thervil dropped 23. The Knights opened the game with a 12-point lead after the first, and continued to play solid ball the remaining three quarters. “I expect them to make their own mistakes, and we’re most definitely going to capitalize on them,” said Sam Lombino (’18).

“We’re going to win. It’s going to be a great game, and a lot of fun for everyone.”

In Westhill’s last game, the Vikings fell to Brien McMahon 64-63. It was a crushing second loss in a row. “I’m really excited,” said Stanley Villard (’18). “It’s always a good feeling playing your city rivals. The crowd is going to be crazy, and we’re ready for everything,” he continued.

After tonight, Westhill will take on Darien on Wednesday, February 14th, and then Ridgefield on Monday, February 19th. The Vikings close out the season against New Canaan on the 21st at New Canaan.
