How to Throw the Perfect Super Bowl Party

Photo courtesy of // The Super Bowl is one of the best sporting events in the world.

The Super Bowl is just around the corner! For some people, the most exciting part isn’t the game, but the snacks and appetizers. Typically, you see snacks such as wings, chips and dip (or guacamole), mozzarella sticks, mini hotdogs and pizza etc. All of these are great snacks, but you can always switch it up  for all your friends. Decorations are also super important to have a fun and festive super bowl party, especially if your favorite team made it to the big game. Below are some suggestions you might want to try out.

Salsa Dip:

  • Salsa (mild, medium or hot)

  • Cream Cheese

  • Mexican shredded cheese

  1. Grab any size bowl or tray and smear cream cheese all around the bottom (thicker layer)

  2. Pour your choice of salsa over the cream cheese

  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top

  4. Cover bowl with saran wrap tightly

  5. Put into the microwave on high for about 1 min. (or until top cheese is melted)

  6. Serve with scoops tostitos or any corn chip

Pull Apart Cheesy Bread:

  • Loaf of bread

  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

  • White cheddar (to cut up)

  • Butter

  • Salt/Pepper

  • Garlic Salt

  • Fresh Parsley

  • Preheat oven to 350°

  • Take the loaf of bread and slice into crosshatches (not all the way to the bottom)

  • Cut the white cheddar into long cubes and place in between the crosshatches

  • Sprinkle on the mozzarella on top

  • Melt your butter and pour on top

  • Put your garlic salt, salt and pepper on to your liking

  • Chop up the fresh parsley and place on top

  • Bake until cheese has fully melted (approx. 20 mins)

If you’re a Patriots fan you can decorate with red and blue balloons. If you cheer on the Falcon’s, you can get red and black. Homemade decorations like printed logos, and cups help add to the atmosphere during the game. No matter who you cheer on, the game will definitely be fun and filled with lots of action.
