Westhill fell to St. Joes 19-14 this past Saturday for their 3rd consecutive loss. They fell to 3-6 on the season, with just one game remaining. St. Joes dominated through four quarters, until Blake Newcomer threw a 48-yard touchdown to Jeremy Young which injected energy into the Westhill offense.

St. Joes went up 13-0 quickly in the 2nd quarter, but Westhill’s Everett Charles Brown returned the favor and made it 13-7 half-way through the quarter. Coach Frank Marcucio was particularly upset with the way the team’s offense played. They fumbled the ball away on a third down in the final quarter. Westhill will close out their season on November 24th against Stamford High at 10:30AM.

-Note: Trinity Catholic took the city championship with their win over Stamford High on November 5th by a score of 38-13.
