On March 23rd, Junior College Night was held in the media center. Juniors and their parents were welcome to come and learn more about applying to colleges and things like the SAT’s. Guidance counselor Mr. Stepkoski spoke about the process of applying to colleges and said, “If you don’t like to write essays, you’re going to be writing a lot of essays.” He proceeded to talk to parents and students about all of the opportunities available, and schools that there are to apply to. When talking about the process, Stepkoski said “get a timeline that you’re comfortable with because there are many out there.” Packets and brochures with information about SAT’s, ACT’s, and other tests were then handed out to student and parents. Guidance counselor Mr. Marchesani then spoke about the opportunities that either have come, or will come in the future for college testing.
