Westhill High School is back-to-back FCIAC champs! The Vikings defeated Danbury 72-61 in Fairfield to be crowned “the best team in the FCIAC.” The team was led by Parrish Rowell and Tyrell Alexander to win their second title in 2 years. Now, tonight at 7PM, Westhill takes on Fairfield Ludlowe in round 1 of the state championships.

Can Westhill get back to Mohegan? Many critics say it’s possible, but they’d have to get past Fairfield Prep – the team they lost to in last years state finals. Everyone is expected to dress tonight except sophomore Stanley Villard. Coach Howard White will be on the bench helping to coach and support the team, despite his health hiccup late last month.

Who will win? We’ll have to wait and see.
