Annual fashion show: A starry starry night

Every year, Westhill High School hosts a fashion show with students modeling the latest fashions and showcasing our student performers. A Starry, Starry Night will be held on Thursday, March 17 at 7 pm in the Westhill High School Auditorium.

Over 60 seniors will be modeling prom fashion from A Step Ahead and Zemos Menswear. 24 juniors and underclassmen will showcase spring fashions from Lord & Taylor. Registration has already closed, reaching maximum capacity with a record high for senior participation.

Aside from modeling, there will be numerous performances of varying talents. Viking cheerleaders, the Purple Pack, step team, the JROTC, Winter Percussion, and Chamber Singers will be presenting all they’ve got to showcase Westhill’s abilities. Northstar Playmakers will also show a sneak peak of their marvelous spring musical, Anything Goes, by performing one of their songs, and Jimmy Locust’s Performing Arts Center will perform a dance routine. Everyone will be getting in on this incredible time honored tradition of fun and glamour.

The money made from this fundraiser will go towards the senior class’s After Prom and scholarships. Tickets will be sold at the door, opening at 6:30, along with concessions and raffles. Students pay $5, adults pay $10, and VIPs pay $15. This night truly encompasses a Westhill and proud event.
