Brief: Understanding the AP registration process

As the year goes on and AP exams are steadily approaching, it’s time to start thinking about the registration process.  On February 1 registration opened to students, and guidance counselors went into individual classes to hand out forms for the test.  Every student received a booklet with information on the test and an AP signed agreement. Guidance counselor Mrs. Michelle explained the process saying, “Students should go online to the Total Registration website to register for the exam. Registration starts February 1 and ends February 25, after that there is a late fee.” The registration fee is $96, or $48 if you are a student who receives fee or reduced lunch.  “Students can refer to the letter they received in the mail to find out more information about the registration process.” Mrs. Michelle continued.

After you register, it is very important to print out the confirmation page along with the signed AP contract and return it to Mrs. Deluca or Mrs. Barkin. This ensures that your test will be ordered. Overall, the AP registration is a simple process if you follow the instructions on the booklets that were handed out during school days leading up to February 1.
